The massive leak matches some previous reports on GTA VI, showing a playable female character in a few clips. Bloomberg reported earlier this year that GTA VI will have two heroines inspired by Bonnie and Clyde. Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreyer says he’s confirmed the leak is genuine through sources at Rockstar Games. The leaked video is currently being posted on various online game forums such as YouTube, Twitter, and Reddit. In a video posted on YouTube, a playable character named Lucia is taken hostage while robbing a restaurant. There are a lot of placeholder texts that make it clear that this is a clearly incomplete gameplay, and you can clearly see the game engine detecting the objects in the scene.
The leaked clips are widely shared on YouTube and social media sites.
Another trailer shows a playable character on the “Vice City Metro” train, in line with reports that the game is set in a fictional version of Miami, such as 2002’s GTA: Vice City. A separate clip features a poolside conversation similar to NPC conversations
Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2.
It is unclear how old the images are, but some appear to work on RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3080 boards, so the development life cannot exceed two years. Other clips show off new NPC interactions, updated UI and animations, and even Rockstar’s internal debugging tools for GTA VI on PlayStation.

While GTA VI is said to be at least two years away, these leaked clips show early and incomplete development and testing of certain aspects of the game. This isn’t the first time a Rockstar game has been heavily leaked. Forced to donate more than $1 million to charity, Trusted Reviews apologized in 2018 after releasing details about Red Dead Redemption 2 ahead of the game’s release. We’ve contacted the owner of Rockstar Take-Two for comment on the leak, and will update you if we get a response. However, it appears that Take-Two has started sending takedown requests for some GTA VI recordings hosted on YouTube. The message “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Take 2 Interactive” began appearing on some videos, but many online.
